Tests
Hindi tests and examinations are conducted four times a year in the same manner as full-time schools.
Registers & Attendance
Teachers will maintain registers and mark attendance. Attendance is compulsory. A student who is absent from classes for three consecutive Saturdays without satisfactory explanation in writing from his/her parent/guardian for each absence may have his/her name struck off the register.

Fees & Remissions
A monthly fee of S$30 for Pre-Primary 1, Pre-Primary 2 and S$25 for Primary 1 to 'A' level an annual supplementary fee of S$25 is payable by all students. The supplementary fee is for worksheets, library membership, examination material, the school magazine and extra-curricular activities. To save precious time, parents are encouraged to pay the fees for the whole year or at least 6 months. Fees for the whole year, including supplementary fees, come to S$385 for Pre-Primary 1 and S$405 for Pre-Primary 2. S$345 for Primary 1 and S$355 for Primary 2 to 'A' level (excluding registration fee), respectively. Cheque payments are preferred. Please make the cheque out to "Hindi Society (Singapore)". Fees for the period July to December must be made by July.
Students registering for the first time are encouraged to pay fees for six months or a year. They are also required to pay the supplementary fee and a registration fee of S$20. Remission of fees may be considered in special circumstances. Those wishing to apply for remission of school fees are to fill out the required form, available from the Hindi School office. Students who are in arrears of fees may not be allowed to sit for their examination.
Hindi as a second language
Hindi can now be offered as a second language at all levels. Students may opt to take Hindi as a second language by completing the option form for this purpose. The form may be obtained from the Senior Master / Principal of your child's school and is to be handed back to the school.
